What a Day...

Yeah, I know. I'm guilty for neglecting my blog AGAIN. I've been busy + lazy... Actually there's a lot of posts that I wanna write in my blog... Ok, I guess I need to work on it now...
There's this incident happened when I was working part time during semester break, which was last week. I was working in this hypermarket ( not going to reveal where was it). As you know, when you are working, and you're new there, so you need to be friendly, right? At least, I think so. Just when I need some helps, perhaps it's not that hard to ask for one. So there was this guy who works there, he kept on teasing me. At first, I just smiled and faster walked away whenever he called me. Then after few days, I starting to feel annoyed. So I just ignored him.

Everything was fine, until my last day of work. Around 12.30 pm, I went into the warehouse get get some stock. Then this guy came near me. He was blocking my way. There were inventories everywhere, so I got no place to move. Then he hold my hands. I tried to break free, but I can't. There were no one around, so it was useless for me to scream. Then to my surprise, he pinched my butt. Oh my god... I can't tolerate with him anymore. I showed him my angry face. He started to let go of my hands. I scolded him and then faster ran out from the warehouse.

Then next thing was I went to the security department to lodge a complain. Ok, honestly, I am very scared at that moment. Luckily, Daniel was there to accompany me. But still, my whole body was shaking. I just want to lodge a report to teach him a lesson, so that he won't dare to do that anymore to other girls.

Never in my mind that the company really did take this case very seriously. He was immediately suspended from his work. Then the next day, they will conduct a meeting and further investigate this case. If everything is positive, he will be terminated.

I felt so bad when the head of security explained that to me. I really did not have the intention to cause anyone to lose their job. So I begged them not to be so strict. I just want him to get a more lenient punishment.

However, I do not know anymore what happen next as that was my last day working there. Some of the workers blame me for lodging the complaint. Well, I really can't control what everyone think. Some even worse. They said that I'm the one who keep on flirt with the guy at the first place. Oh, gimme a break. If anyone who really know me very well, they can tell will I simply flirt with guy?

P/S: Just 1 more thing, now only I realized just how important it is for company or wat-so-ever institution to provide education for lady on how to deal with sexual harrassment. Because basically, I really don't know how and fear to handle all this. Again, luckily Daniel was there with me the whole time. Thank you, Daniel.
